Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule while focusing on strategic treatment for school-aged children. You will work from your home office but engage regularly with students via teletherapy sessions and possibly in-person follow-up sessions when necessary. The role includes some evening and weekend hours aimed at ensuring access for clients within the school community.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing to effectively engage students.

• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and external healthcare providers to establish integrated treatment pathways, ensuring comprehensive support for students.

• Document client progress meticulously, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system, and adjust treatment plans as needed based on observed outcomes.

• Administer psychoeducational interventions and therapeutic practices in a manner that fosters trust and encourages student participation.

• Monitor medication adherence and side effects in collaboration with our medical team, facilitating productive communication between students and healthcare providers.

• Support crisis intervention efforts by responding swiftly to students in distress, ensuring safety, and providing immediate coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on students within the K-12 educational system who may face various mental health challenges. You will work with students dealing with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders, emphasizing a preventive and supportive approach to mental health care. As an LCSW in a school environment, you will create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages students to engage in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist.

Compensation and Benefits\n
