Work Environment\n

This full-time position is fully remote, providing the flexibility to work from home while making an impact on students’ lives. You will collaborate with educational staff and other healthcare professionals in a supportive environment aimed at promoting student mental health. The role will occasionally require evening and weekend hours to accommodate the schedules of students and their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your advanced training to formulate independent psychosocial assessments and diagnoses, collaborating with students to explore their emotional and mental health needs.

• Develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique requirements of each student, ensuring their needs are met holistically.
\n
• Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions such as solution-focused treatment, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral strategies that are appropriate for each student’s situation.
\n
• Work in close cooperation with other clinicians, school psychologists, and primary care providers to foster a comprehensive approach to mental healthcare.
\n
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and patient progress by systematically tracking responses, whether in person or through virtual visits, adjusting treatment plans based on progress toward established goals.
\n
• Assist in the management of psychotropic medications as prescribed by governmental approved healthcare providers, focusing on adherence, potential side effects, and efficacy of the prescribed treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health services to students across various age groups within a school environment. You will support children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and academic stress, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.
\n
• A current, valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license to practice independently in Maryland.
\n
• Minimum of one year of experience as a licensed therapist, inclusive of direct clinical practice.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a school-based mental health setting is preferred.
\n
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and best practices in adolescent mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
