Overview
Speech Language Pathologist — Acute Care, Everett, WA. Travel assignment starting 08/17/2026 for several weeks, with a weekly pay range of $1,997 to $2,092 and guaranteed hours of 0.0. Shift is 5x8 Days. Work setting is a hospital-based pediatric outpatient unit with campus-wide women & children services and onsite Level II NICU. This outpatient pediatric SLP role involves evaluation and treatment across neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric SLP evaluations and ongoing assessments for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents in the outpatient setting
- Provide evidence-based therapy for language, articulation/phonology, fluency, and voice; implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies as needed
- Address developmental delays, autism spectrum presentations, and oral-motor concerns; support family/patient education and home programs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans; document progress and adjust goals in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Perform charting in the electronic health record (EPIC) and participate in care planning; coordinate with Social Services and other services as appropriate
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and patient/family engagement; may float to similar pediatric units as needed

Requirements
- Years of experience: 1 year required; first-timers accepted: No
- Travel experience: Yes; clinician may be asked to float to like units
- Patient ratio experience: 1:1
- Certifications: BLS required
- Charting: EPIC experience preferred/required
- Setting: Ability to work in a pediatric outpatient setting with campus maternity/pediatric services and onsite Level II NICU
