Key Responsibilities\n

• Carry out comprehensive intake assessments and mental health screenings via video conferencing platforms to assess the needs of students.

• Provide individualized counseling sessions and crisis intervention for students experiencing personal or academic distress, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Organize and facilitate group therapy sessions or workshops focusing on relevant issues such as stress management, anxiety reduction, and coping strategies.

• Engage in regular communication and collaboration with campus staff, including academic advisors and student organizations, to create holistic support networks for students.

• Represent Gotham Enterprises Ltd at outreach events, promoting mental health awareness and wellness resources to the student population.

• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards in mental health practice.

Your primary focus will be on college-aged individuals navigating the unique pressures of academic life, personal development, and transitional challenges. This role necessitates an understanding of the diverse backgrounds and mental health needs typical of contemporary students, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and academic stress.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• Demonstrated understanding of the mental health challenges faced by college students, with strategies for effective engagement.

• Exemplary communication skills that facilitate productive interactions with students and collaboration with different campus departments.
