Radiation Oncologist, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Radiation Oncology

Location Stony Brook, New York / Southampton, New York Open Date Mar 02, 2026 Deadline Oct 29, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor will be responsible for radiation oncology care of genitourinary cancer; participating in the education of medical students, residents and fellows; and clinical translational research and/or basic bench research. Qualifications Required Qualifications MD degree (or foreign equivalent). Eligibility for New York State Licensure, completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology Residency. Board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology. Strong interest in an academic career with clinical, translational, or basic research. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in clinical care of GI, GU, and/or women's cancer, interest or experience in community care, clinical research, and theranostics, education. GU experience include in interstitial brachytherapy, SpaceOAR injection, and theranostics. Special Notes Tenure/Non-Tenure Track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. To qualify for tenure and/or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure).
