Music Instructor (Multi-Instrumentalist)

Location: Vancouver, WA
Job Type: Full-Time (with opportunity for growth)

Music Made Academy is a growing, faith-based music school in Vancouver, WA. Our mission is to provide high-quality music education in a positive, encouraging environment while helping students develop both musically and personally. We welcome students of all ages and strive to create a place where excellence, integrity, and genuine relationships come first.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable music instructor who loves teaching and enjoys working with students of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging one-on-one music lessons.

• Develop lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and ability level.

• Encourage consistent practice and celebrate student progress.

• Communicate professionally with students and parents.

• Keep lesson notes and attendance up to date.

• Participate in recitals and occasional academy events.

• Represent Music Made Academy with professionalism and kindness.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for instructors who can teach multiple instruments . Ideal candidates can teach two or more of the following:

• Piano

• Guitar (Acoustic and/or Electric)

• Bass

• Drums

• Ukulele

• Vocals

• Violin

• Viola

• Cello

Applicants should have:

• Previous teaching experience (private lessons, classrooms, churches, volunteer settings, or similar)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A patient and encouraging teaching style

• Reliability and professionalism

• The ability to adapt lessons to different ages and learning styles

Formal music degrees are appreciated but not required . We value excellent musicians who are passionate about teaching and helping students grow.
