Food Manufacturing Production Supervisor Green Labs LLC (Swifts Edibles) — Raymond, WA Pay: $24–$28 per hour, based on experience Job Type: Full-time, on-site About Green Labs Green Labs is an established manufacturer in Raymond, Washington, producing a wide variety of gummies, chocolates, truffles, candies, and other products under brands including Swifts Edibles. Our facility operates multiple production lines using specialized industrial food manufacturing and packaging equipment. Our products are cannabis-infused, but no cannabis industry experience is required or preferred. We are seeking someone with proven experience in food manufacturing, production equipment, and leading people. About the Position We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Food Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities on our manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate has experience managing production employees, operating and troubleshooting industrial food processing equipment, improving manufacturing efficiency, and maintaining consistent product quality. This is not an office-based management position. We need someone who is comfortable working alongside operators, understanding how machines and processes work, recognizing problems before they become costly, and taking ownership of finding solutions. Experience manufacturing confectionery products is a plus, but not required. We are interested in candidates from a wide range of food manufacturing industries. Key Responsibilities Production Floor Leadership Supervise production employees and ensure daily manufacturing activities are completed safely, efficiently, and consistently. Provide clear direction, establish expectations, and hold team members accountable for their work. Monitor production activities, equipment performance, employee productivity, and product quality. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient manufacturing environment. Equipment Operation & Troubleshooting Work hands-on with industrial food processing and packaging equipment. Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems, production inconsistencies, and process failures. Investigate production losses and determine root causes rather than simply reporting symptoms. Coordinate with maintenance and technical staff to resolve equipment issues. Identify opportunities to improve machine performance, reduce downtime, and minimize material waste. Process Improvement & Quality Continuously evaluate production methods to improve efficiency, consistency, and product quality. Develop practical solutions to recurring production problems and verify their effectiveness. Maintain, review, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), checklists, and production instructions. Ensure that approved process improvements are documented and consistently implemented. Monitor critical production parameters and ensure adherence to quality and food safety standards. Employee Training & Development Train production employees on equipment operation, manufacturing processes, safety, and quality expectations. Help employees understand not just what to do, but why procedures matter and how to recognize problems. Evaluate employee performance, identify training needs, and develop a capable, accountable production team. Build a culture of ownership, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and teamwork. Required Qualifications Proven experience in an industrial food manufacturing or food processing environment. Experience leading, training, or supervising employees on a production floor. Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting industrial food manufacturing machinery. Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve production problems, improve processes, and reduce waste. Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to follow, maintain, and improve manufacturing procedures and production documentation. Comfortable working directly with equipment and employees throughout the production day. Must be at least 21 years old. Preferred Qualifications Experience in bakery, confectionery, beverage, dairy, prepared foods, sauces, seafood processing, or similar food manufacturing operations. Experience with industrial mixers, cookers, pumps, conveyors, depositors, filling equipment, or automated packaging machinery. Experience improving production yields, reducing downtime, and implementing corrective actions. Familiarity with food safety programs, quality systems, and structured employee training. Confectionery or cannabis manufacturing experience is not necessary. We value proven industrial food manufacturing and leadership experience over familiarity with our specific products.
