Transportation Driver Manager

Job Title: Transportation Driver Manager Location: Haltom City, TX Summary Oversee day-to-day operations in the assigned function, managing operations and account management with direct reports. Responsible for achieving daily operational goals. Responsibilities Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees Manage day-to-day planning and scheduling Health and safety management, ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations Provide off‑shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises Make timely decisions and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels Operate independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment, multitasking and managing time efficiently Perform additional duties as assigned Skills & Abilities Ability to work within international functional teams High-level analytical ability for complex problems Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Logistics industry knowledge and understanding of customer/company regulations Fundamental knowledge of supply chain management components Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or supply chain preferred Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience Advanced proficiency in MS Office, logistics industry, and regulation knowledge Compensation & Benefits Salary: $70,000 – $75,000 per year (exempt, paid twice per month) Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.; additional hours and days as needed Benefits: Medical, dental, vision starting at 30 days; 401(k) with company match; employee stock purchase options; quality employee discounts on tools, cars, appliances, travel; paid holidays; paid time off within first year; up to 12 weeks paid maternity leave EEO Statement Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free workplace.
