WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Billing Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring First Step House receives accurate and timely reimbursement for the medical and behavioral health services we provide. You’ll: Submit clean medical, laboratory, and specialty program claims Investigate and resolve claim denials and billing issues Perform Medicaid eligibility verification and insurance follow-up Reconcile and maintain accounts receivable Stay current on Medicaid, Medicare, and payer updates Work closely with internal departments to resolve eligibility and billing concerns Help maintain timely, accurate billing practices that support the financial health of the organization YOU MIGHT BE A FIT IF… You enjoy solving billing puzzles and tracking down claim issues.
