As an SEO and LLM Optimization Specialist, your impact will be significant in enhancing Sonar's digital presence and ensuring our content is strategically positioned within both traditional search engines and the latest AI-driven search models. By executing comprehensive SEO strategies, you will ensure our webpages and blog posts are optimized for maximum visibility and performance, supporting the organic growth of our audience.

Your expertise in monitoring AI-generated responses and structuring content for enhanced readability and authority will help Sonar stay ahead in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-based search tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. Additionally, your ability to track SEO KPIs and generate insightful reports will provide valuable data-driven guidance to content, web, and product marketing teams, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning. Through cross-team collaboration and staying updated on industry trends, you will contribute to Sonar's continuous improvement and innovation in digital marketing and discoverability.

What You Will Do Daily

• Conduct keyword research to support product, solution, and documentation content.
• Optimize existing pages and blog posts for SEO best practices.
• Help maintain and expand technical SEO health (metadata, structured data, internal linking, etc.).
• Support regular site audits using tools like Ahrefs, GSC, and Screaming Frog.
• Monitor Sonar visibility in AI-generated responses (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.).
• Assist in structuring content for LLM readability (e.g., FAQ blocks, clear summaries, authoritative tone).
• Track and document brand citations or mentions within LLM search tools.
• Track and report SEO KPIs (traffic, rankings, click-through rates, content performance).
• Support the creation of dashboards or recurring reports on organic and AI-based discovery.
• Share insights to help inform content, web, and product marketing teams.
• Collaborate with the content team to align keyword strategy with messaging priorities.
• Work with developers and web teams to implement technical changes or experiments.
• Stay informed on industry trends around SEO and LLM discoverability and share learnings internally.

The Experience You Will Need

• Direct, hands-on experience negotiating partnerships specifically with or for major AI Foundation Model / LLM providers.
• Experience with data licensing, IP licensing, technology collaboration in the AI space.
• Deep understanding of the AI landscape, with specific, in-depth knowledge of Foundation Models / Large Language Models (LLMs): key providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google DeepMind, etc.), model capabilities & limitations, common APIs, typical partnership structures, and legal considerations.
• Established network within the AI / LLM developer community.10+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, technology partnerships, or related fields, preferably within the AI/ML and data science domains.
• Proven track record of successfully defining, negotiating, closing, and managing high-impact, technology-centric partnerships, ideally including experience working directly with AI/ML platform or model providers.
• Strong foundational knowledge of the software development lifecycle and ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with partners at both a deep technical level (understanding model architectures, APIs, integration challenges) and a strategic business level.
• Experience leading complex deal negotiations, including interpreting legal documents and working collaboratively with legal counsel on terms related to IP, data usage, liability, and service levels, particularly in the context of AI/ML services.
• Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to cross-functional teams to orchestrate and execute complex partnerships. Strong experience working directly with Product Management and Engineering/Research teams.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with experience influencing stakeholders at various levels, including senior executives.
• Ability to thrive, lead initiatives, and execute in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and often ambiguous technological landscape.
