A well-established independent compounding pharmacy in the Arcadia/Phoenix area is seeking an experienced pharmacist to take charge of daily operations and lead the team with a visionary mindset. This role offers a unique career path, combining hands-on pharmacy leadership with the exciting potential for future ownership.

This position starts as a 3-month contract with transition to full-time employment, offering a competitive salary, benefits, paid time off, and an opportunity to eventually purchase a minority ownership stake in the business, with possibilities for expanded ownership over time.

Location: Glendale, AZ
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Lead all pharmacy operations including overseeing staff performance and workflow
• Manage compounding procedures, inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Build strong relationships with patients and prescribers to foster trust and grow business
• Drive operational improvements and business growth strategies
• Potentially act as Pharmacist-in-Charge, providing leadership and direction

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Arizona pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure
• Proven leadership and effective communication skills
• Experience in compounding and independent pharmacy settings preferred
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong interest in pharmacy ownership and business growth
