Investment Analyst (PR/592088) New York, New York Salary: USD120000 - USD175000 per year A top-tier global asset manager is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Private Credit team in New York . This role offers the opportunity to join a well-established platform with significant AUM and a strong track record in credit investing, providing exposure to a high volume of transactions, direct access to senior investors, and a clear path for long-term growth. The Role The analyst will focus on evaluating and executing private credit investments, primarily providing first-lien and unitranche financing solutions to sponsor-backed companies. Key Responsibilities Evaluate new lending opportunities and investment theses Conduct in-depth due diligence on business quality and cash flow sustainability Build and maintain detailed financial models and scenario analyses Structure debt investments, including terms, covenants, and capital structures Assess downside protection, leverage profiles, and recovery outcomes Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and investment management What They’re Looking For 1–3 years of experience in Investment Banking , ideally within Leveraged Finance, Credit, or related product groups Background at a top-tier investment bank strongly preferred (but not required) Strong financial modeling and analytical skill-set Interest in credit investing and risk-focused underwriting Detail-oriented with a rigorous approach to due diligence Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
