ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients in a blended ICU setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with various conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, and sepsis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient status and adjust care plans as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Medhost EHR.
• Participate in the orientation and training of new staff members.
• Respond to emergencies and critical situations with composure and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH.
• Experience with critical care procedures such as CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR preferred.
• Ability to float to Intermediate Care Unit as needed.

Unit Information

The ICU consists of 16 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. The unit is equipped with necessary medical technology to provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients.

Working Conditions

This position requires a commitment to a 3x12 hour shift schedule, including weekend hours and call requirements. Our facility is a Joint Commission accredited institution offering a collaborative work environment focused on patient-centered care.
