Accounts Receivable Representative

Job Description Our company is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team! Responsibilities Calls insurance companies to determine status on all accounts more than 30 days old, or as determined by state prompt-payment regulations Prepares, reviews, and transmits claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing Checks accuracy of payments from insurance company and calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary Send any necessary copies or supporting documentation required by insurance companies Submits claim to patient’s secondary insurance (including primary carrier’s EOB) after receiving correct payment from primary carrier Researches and appeals denied claims Contacts patient's regarding information needed and collect balance's due Run reports on outstanding A/R on a monthly basis Prepare Worker's Compensation disputes for attorney and send Notate and work insurance correspondence Qualifications Previous experience in medical billing or related fields Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong organizational skills Deadline and detail-oriented Type minimum 50 wpm #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
