Mission Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated ER Admitting Representative to join our team in Panorama City, CA. This role is pivotal in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient admission process in our Emergency Room, providing compassionate support and accurate documentation that facilitates excellent patient care.

• Greet and admit patients arriving at the Emergency Room in a professional and courteous manner.
• Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and personal identification, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate timely patient admissions and transfers.
• Maintain patient records and input data into hospital systems with attention to detail.
• Assist patients and families with questions and provide clear directions about the admission process.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements pertaining to patient admissions.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospital admissions, patient registration, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency with computer systems and patient management software.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and maintain composure under pressure.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $19.50 to $25.00.
