Mechanical Design Engineer
Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Mechanical Design Engineer position located in Greenville, SC. This position is a contract hire opportunity which is expected to be on-site for a duration of one year.
Summary
The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for providing design liaison engineering (DLE) support to GVL manufacturing. This will be specifically centered on rotor & unit assembly areas.
Job Description
Review, evaluate, and define solutions to manufacturing issues as they arise. The evaluation piece of this work will require analysis through hand calculations, CAD, FEA, and/or other internal tools used to evaluate deviant hardware. Will support DLE initiatives to drive defect reduction through improved engineering definition and improved manufacturing processes. This scope of work can require support in revising engineering specifications and drawings. Conduct technical reviews to substantiate rework and/or acceptance criteria.
