Senior Android Engineer

Pay rate range - $75/hr. to $78/hr. Remote Job Description Senior Software Engineer specializing in design & development of Android apps using Java, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Experienced in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) such as Requirements Gathering, Project Design, Development, Support and maintenance phases to meet requirement of project and familiar with agile software development methodologies as well. Strong Knowledge of the Android SDK performance tools and optimization techniques Strong experience of multithreading & concurrency programming Strong understanding of modern Android architecture, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Demonstrated experience making architectural decisions and driving technical direction across projects. Contribute to major product initiatives end-to-end-from technical strategy and architecture through production launch. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Infrastructure teams to deliver customer-facing experiences. Optimize application performance, reliability, observability, and long-term maintainability. Leverage modern AI development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) to accelerate engineering while maintaining a high quality standard. Self-motivated and excellent abilities to learn new languages and other concepts quickly, excellent interpersonal skills and abilities to communicate with team players. Intelliswift
