Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule:
- Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM
- Shift Type: Nights

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:
- Up to date resume reflecting 2+ years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing with stroke stepdown experience.
- Travel experience required.
- Skills checklist matching specialty.
- Current driver's license with address.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- NIHSS certification required (can be obtained prior to start).
- NURSYS report with verification of active nursing license in the state and all active RN licenses.
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
- Experience with EMR: EPIC.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a medical-surgical setting, focusing on stroke stepdown patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes in status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures.
