As a Home Health Registered Nurse, you'll enjoy: Schedule: PRN visits available Wage: Competitive compensation ranging from $55.00 to $95.00 per visit, based on visit type. 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios where you impact outcomes Flexible assignments, autonomy and work-life balance Online training, growth and ability to earn CEUs Tuition discounts through Rasmussen University In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by: Provide home-based care to patients with illnesses, injuries and chronic diseases—often after discharge from a hospital, rehab or nursing facility Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aides providing patient care Examine patients, do assessments, document progress and report changes to their physician Educate patients on their plan of care, prescribed medication, therapy, diet and exercise Coach family members on the patient’s plan of care, medication and home safety Ensure goals are met and coordinate discharge from services A few must-haves for Home Health Registered Nurses: 1 year of home healthcare experience Oasis experience required Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in FL Must maintain current CPR certification, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance. Strong clinical nursing expertise with a thorough understanding of state and federal home health regulations, complemented by excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
