We encourage feedback and constantly strive for improvement to ensure an extraordinary member and staff experience.Position SummaryPrepares, cooks, serves creative and innovative dishes under the direction of Executive Chef and Sous Chefs.Position ResponsibilitiesWorks well with team and communicates efficientlyPrepare dishes to standards consistently and timelyOrganizes and prioritizes multiple projects to meet deadlinesProactive, creative and flexible when it comes to problem solvingPractice safe and sanitary food handling and preparation proceduresTakes direction from Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, ask questions when necessaryFollows recipes using appropriate measuring techniquesAssists cooks with prep work when delegated toPerform other kitchen duties as assignedSpecific Job Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFood Handler’s certification is requiredMust be able to cook orders as specified on the menu and to the members requestMust be able to operate cooking equipment safelyMust be able to read and understand English and communicate with members in a professional mannerMust be able to use and read a food thermometerKnowledge of basic cooking techniques, emulsions, stocks, standard knife cutsReliable and punctualEducationHigh school diploma or GEDCulinary school preferredExperience2 or more years restaurant experience1 or more years working on the line #J-18808-Ljbffr
