About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to provide essential legal support in the areas of human resources, labor relations, fiscal matters, procurement, and contracts. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising on a wide range of legal issues, including but not limited to, the hiring, management, and discipline of employees, as well as representing the company in related legal proceedings. This role also involves policy review and compliance, legal research, and assistance in litigation management, including drafting and filing legal documents and preparing witnesses. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to and maintain licensure from the State Bar of Montana, and have a minimum of two years of specialized law and lead litigation experience. The position requires a candidate with a strong legal background, capable of handling complex legal matters and providing sound legal advice. The Assistant General Counsel will work closely with the General Counsel and other team members, and must be adept at managing multiple tasks, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
