Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Rep-Manufacturing for a direct hire opportunity in San Fernando, CA. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with experience supporting clients, orders, sales teams, production teams, and supply chain activity within a manufacturing environment.

The Customer Service Rep-Manufacturing will serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping ensure order accuracy, clear communication, timely follow-up, and a professional service experience. This position works closely with sales, production, shipping and receiving, and quality control teams to support smooth operations and strong customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries, order status updates, product information, and service-related communication.
- Process and monitor customer orders while coordinating with sales, production, shipping, receiving, and quality teams.
- Help resolve customer issues by gathering information, communicating updates, and following through to completion.
- Support sales and account management teams with documentation, order coordination, and customer follow-up.
- Maintain accurate customer records, order details, and internal communication to support efficient workflow.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience by providing professional, timely, and solutions-focused support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Support customer service, order coordination, and client communication in a manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate with production, shipping and receiving, sales, and quality control teams.
- Help manage order accuracy, customer follow-up, and issue resolution.
- Build strong customer relationships while supporting internal operational efficiency.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant customer service, sales support, manufacturing support, or supply chain coordination experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, production, distribution, or supply chain environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up consistently, and maintain accurate information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first approach.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting customer accounts in a manufacturing or industrial business.
- Familiarity with order entry, production coordination, shipping follow-up, or ERP systems.
- Prior experience partnering with sales, production, shipping, receiving, and quality control departments.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in a diverse manufacturing environment.
