Electrician

Electrician Job Type: Full-Time Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. – DSCC, Columbus, Ohio Pay: $55.00/hr. plus $5.36 health and welfare fringe benefit. Overtime at time and a half rate as needed. Hours: Monday to Friday (8‑hour shifts): 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Temporary schedule adjustments may occur. Must be available for emergency response. Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Retirement Benefit Disability Insurance Holidays and Vacation Job Description Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Install or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment. Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical system or equipment. Abilities / Skills / Knowledge Required Rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Electrical Generating Systems Association Certification Program Certificate of Completion required. Guidelines Multi‑Talented Must be able to lift in excess of 75 lbs. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Requirements Employees must meet the requirements of the federal credentialing process to access the facility, including obtaining facility access (PIV card, smart card, access card, badge, DBIDs) and meeting ongoing training and access requirements. Must hold a journeyman electrical certificate. Must hold and maintain a valid state driver's license, with a driving record that complies with the company's fleet insurance requirements. Successful completion of initial and recurring Motor Vehicle Record checks is required. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. No relocation assistance is available.
