Monday to Friday: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Every Saturday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist I / Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) to join our team in Miami, FL. The PSR I serves as the face of the organization, providing exceptional patient care while performing blood collection and specimen processing duties. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, a patient-focused approach, and the ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Collect high-quality blood specimens from patients using established phlebotomy procedures.
Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols.
Verify patient information and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Explain collection procedures to patients in a clear, professional, and compassionate manner.
Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
Adhere to confidentiality standards and patient privacy regulations.
Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image with patients, clients, employees, and the public.
Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established timeframes under the direction of the area supervisor.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
Strong blood collection skills with experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients.
Keyboarding and data entry experience required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to deliver accurate, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
Medical Assistant, Paramedic, or other medical training preferred.
Phlebotomy Certification preferred (required in certain states such as California, Nevada, and Washington).
Prior customer service experience in a healthcare, retail, or service environment preferred.
