Be part of our mission to Advance Life Around the World. We are urgently hiring for a 3rd shift Machine Operator in our Tape Department. In this position as a Machine Operator, you will be working in the Tape Department of our production operations. The tape that we make is yarn that is stitched together on a looming machine. You will be expected to maintain a continuous high-quality product from the beginning of the weaving process to completion of product on the reel in a safe and efficient manner.

PAY: This position pays $19.84/Hour with a $1/hr shift differential. This position is 3rd shift, 11pm-7:15pm. Schedule: The schedule is MONDAY-FRIDAY, 11pm-7:15pm. SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED!: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and maintain required amount of raw materials on reels
• Know and understand different yarn types that are commonly used and their applications
• Check and maintain lube levels in lubricator
• Check and verify that weft and lockstitch are being properly woven into the product
• Program the printers to print required message on product
• Check and maintain fluid levels
• Check and maintain print quality
• Check and maintain measurement markings
• Properly label and/or tag product as it is processed off of the printer
• Must be mechanically inclined and have ability to troubleshoot problems
• Follow all safety requirements of this position
• Abiding by all policies and procedures in the associate handbook
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Warehouse experience REQUIRED
• Manufacturing experience REQUIRED
• Team Player with consistent work history
• Ability to speak, read and write English, fluently (Bi-Lingual a Plus!)
• Ability to adhere to all SOP'S and GMP'S required by the facility.

OCCUPATIONAL AND/OR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift up to 30 Ibs. with or without reasonable assistance
• Forklift and Pallet Jack experience a plus
• Able to bend and stay in a bent over position for extended periods of time occasionally
• Must be able to walk and stand on a concrete floor for long periods of time

The compensation for this position is typically $19.84/Hour. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
