Taylor House is a brand new upscale casual restaurant coming to the Walking Mall of Old Town Winchester.  We have a beautiful historic location central to the pedestrian mall with a fully renovated dining room and bar.  We will focus on exceptional service for our guests and craft cocktails while cultivating a warm and welcoming environment.  We are seeking team members that have a desire to create something to be proud about.  The owners of Taylor House have owned and operated restaurants for nearly 10 years.

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional experiences for guests.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food runner, server assistant, or busser experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with the right attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a high standard of service.
• Strong sense of urgency and the ability to anticipate the needs of guests and fellow team members.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to being a reliable member of the team.
• Ability to take direction, learn quickly, and adapt to the needs of a new and growing restaurant.
• Pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and polished dining environment.
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely lift and carry trays, dishes, glassware, bus tubs, and restaurant supplies up and down stairs.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends

• Deliver food to guests accurately, efficiently, and professionally while ensuring proper presentation.
• Support servers in providing attentive, seamless, and exceptional service throughout the guest experience.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and thoroughly while maintaining the appearance of the dining room.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and other front-of-house spaces.
• Assist with refilling water, clearing glassware, and responding to guest needs as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth and timely service.
• Assist with running food, stocking supplies, polishing glassware and silverware, and completing assigned side work.
• Anticipate the needs of the service team and proactively assist wherever needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure the restaurant is fully prepared for service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety standards.
