AWS Hours Requirement: 12/36 - 12 Hour Shift

Weekend Requirements: Every Other

Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum): $61.740 - $70.170 - $90.160

The stated pay scale reflects the range as defined by the collective bargaining agreement between Sharp HealthCare and Sharp Professional Nurses Network, United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals, NUHHCE, AFSME, AFL-CIO. Placement within the range is based on years of RN experience.

What You Will Do To provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• 1 Year clinical experience (RNs with less than 12 months experience will complete the new grad requirements).
• California Registered Nurse (RN) - CA Board of Registered Nursing -REQUIRED
• AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Various-Employee provides certificate -REQUIRED
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) - National Certification Corporation -REQUIRED

Other Qualification Requirements

• New Grad and Transition-In-Practice (TIP) RNs required to obtain NCC Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one (1) year of hire. The department is required to track progress in obtaining this certification.

May assume the responsibility of relief charge nurse and may assist with preceptorship/professional development of new nurses and students.
