Corporate Associate - Mid-Level

Corporate Associate We are seeking a mid‑level Corporate Associate to join a busy Corporate/M&A practice at a collaborative law firm. The ideal candidate has 6–8 years of experience handling mergers and acquisitions and related corporate transactional matters. The role involves drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating with clients and counsel, and managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Draft, review, revise, and negotiate corporate transactional documents. Handle documentation related to stock purchases, asset purchases, acquisitions, corporate governance, LLCs, shareholder matters, confidentiality agreements, and employment‑related agreements. Coordinate transaction timelines and deliverables with clients, colleagues, opposing counsel, and other deal participants. Assist with due diligence, deal organization, and closing processes. Communicate regularly with clients and counsel regarding transaction status and open issues. Manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines in a fast‑paced practice. Support the broader Corporate/M&A team on complex business transactions and general corporate matters. Requirements 6–8 years of mergers and acquisitions experience. Strong corporate transactional drafting experience. Excellent negotiation, communication, and client service skills. Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assignments. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Positive, team‑oriented attitude. Comfortable in a high‑performing, fast‑paced legal environment. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $240,000–$290,000 annually. Billable requirement: 1,800 hours. Hybrid flexibility: up to 3 days per week remote. Annual business development budget: $2,500.
