Compensation: $31.70 – $47.54/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000

A large acute care hospital in the Salem area is seeking Medical Surgical Registered Nurses (Med Surg RNs) for multiple inpatient specialty units, including Oncology and Orthopedic Trauma. Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient conditions throughout admission and inpatient stay
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly within the electronic medical record
• Identify changes in patient status and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge planning, and recovery expectations
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment

Qualifications

Required

• Active RN license
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Preferred

• Acute care or inpatient nursing experience
• Experience in Med Surg, Oncology, Orthopedics, or Trauma care
• Flexibility to cross-train across inpatient specialties
