Business Analyst (US Citizens) - Prolim Location: Austin, TX or Remote (Texas state only) Type: Long-term contract Job Description Senior Metadata Ingestion Analyst serving as a liaison between technical IT and non-technical program staff within Health and Human Services (HHS). Responsible for business and technical glossary definitions for agency reporting and strategic decision-making, with an emerging focus on AI. Responsibilities Work with program areas, sponsors, and SMEs to connect EIM cataloging/lineage systems to source systems Automate collection and updates of agency metadata for high-value data assets Explain technical findings in non-technical language to end-users Extract, integrate, and analyze metadata from multiple sources Create visualizations for enrichment progress and official reporting Validate AI outputs, identify and mitigate hallucinations Ensure data outputs adhere to reporting standards and complianceDevelop and conduct training sessions on data glossary tools Create documentation and tutorials for glossary tool usage Promote data-driven culture and effective metadata use Troubleshoot metadata issues with data engineering, IT, and program teams Develop and refine AI prompts for accurate metadata retrieval Guide non-technical users in crafting effective prompts Build a library of standardized prompts and query templates Minimum Requirements (8 Years Required) Gathering business requirements and translating complex metadata into actionable glossary paths Explaining technical findings to non-technical users and leadership Working as a senior data/business analyst or data liaison Strong SQL experience for data extraction and enrichment Collaborating with end-users and IT to create/validate glossaries Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications (5 Years Preferred Unless Noted) Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse experience Acting as primary contact for program staff metadata/glossary needs Health and human services or regulated environment experience Data governance and data quality principles Experience with Informatica EDC and Axon Data Governance Championing data literacy (2 years preferred) Training and mentoring staff on data literacy (2 years preferred) AI prompt development (1 year preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr ChatGPT Jobs
