Looking for a legal assistant to the Paralegals. Core administrative duties would include:
- Scheduling meetings, managing calendars for attorneys and paralegals
- Answering phones and communicating with clients
- Organizing and maintaining case files (physical and digital)
- Drafting routine documents (letters, forms, basic pleadings)
- Formatting legal documents for court submission
- Proofreading for grammar, formatting, and completeness
- Gathering and organizing evidence and records
- Preparing exhibits and binders for hearings or trials
- Assisting with client intake (collecting initial information)
- Sending updates to clients about case status
- Requesting records (medical, financial, etc.)
- Using case management software (Clio)
- Handling confidential information securely
