Production Supervisor

Clover Consulting has a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI in need of a Production Supervisor with a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, people management, and continuous improvement. Role Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Term 12 months contract to hire Target rate $30/hr W2 Shift 1st shift - On-Site in Grand Rapids, MI (6am-4pm depending on volume) Helping Our People Thrive Wellbeing ensures our employees feel seen, heard and valued Steelcase offers competitive wages and benefits to support your life in and out of work Learning is the foundation of everything we do, and there is no shortage of development opportunities to grow and upskill Culture is a lifestyle at Steelcase and we live it every day Opportunity to make an impact on the world through Steelcase’s commitment to people and planet Supporting Meaningful Work Manage a production division from raw materials to finished product, ensuring schedules are met Lead and develop a team of 20–30 hourly employees, focusing on performance, training, and development Participate in a leadership rotational program Collaborate with Operations Managers to control costs and meet corporate goals Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and labor regulations Drive quality improvements and customer satisfaction Provide coverage for Operations Managers and lead special projects as needed Maintain flexibility to move between manufacturing areas based on business needs Minimum Qualifications 3-5+ years of proven leadership and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards Desired Skills and Experience Strong initiative and ability to work under pressure Bachelor's degree or military equivalent experience Familiarity with engineering methods and capacity analysis Lean manufacturing Ability to adapt quickly and lead through change Experience leading cross-functional projects #J-18808-Ljbffr Myticas Consulting
