Department specific functions include: Serve as testing center monitor and observer Provide support and customer service to faculty and students who need assistance scheduling an exam through the university tool. Monitors and observes exams ensuring alignment with university expectations and national best practices. Enter campus testing center schedule in university tool in alignment with semester schedule meeting the needs of the campus and Regional Higher Education (RHE). Train peers and/or student employees to monitor and observe exams, ensuring standards and expectations are understood. Faculty and Campus Support
Provides academic support for faculty including serving as primary point of contact to administer course materials for faculty teaching over the distance education cross campus system (OULN). Provides support for distance education including duplication of materials; maintaining schedule of classes and operators, room assignments, and ensuring class connections work properly. Collect and maintain records each semester including course syllabi, faculty office hours and course textbook information. Provide support for tutoring questions; needs and arrangements for in-person tutoring. May provide cashiering support for the campus. Responsible for hiring, scheduling and supervising student employees for distance education support and IT Help Desk. Provides administrative support for IT including serving as initial point of contact for technology issues and triage. Assists with ordering IT supplies and creating IT work orders. Provides financial support including submitting orders for supplies and equipment; facilitate travel and logistical arrangements; create expense reports, enter service agreements, and invoice payment requests via university financial systems while adhering to university policies and procedures. Process, maintain and track financial transactions including faculty professional development, awards and grants and other campus specific activities. This position is eligible for the following benefits:

Job Responsibilities
• May supervise or oversee the work of Technical & Administrative Support staff and/or student employees.
• Resolves complex and unique problems that require an ability to interpret established policies and procedures.
• Oversees department unit administrative processes.
• Coordinates complex processes and initiatives such as grant proposals, contracts /or complex academic processes such as tenure case approvals, faculty searches, complicated course scheduling or sensitive graduate application processes.
• Plans and implements projects, special events, and/or programs that require a high level of coordination with multiple constituents and departments.
• Composes and edits internal and external correspondence and documents, including such things as manuscript submissions for scientific journals.
• Manages academic courses and textbook information. Plans and maintains website as well as other department publications.
• Prepares and monitors internal budget and other financial documents for a departmental work unit. Recommends purchases. Reviews and follows up on discrepancies in standard expenditures. Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of administrative practices, policies, procedures, office equipment, and computer software typically obtained by a high school degree or GED or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable. Specific knowledge, certifications, and licensure will apply at the position level.
