Custom Healthcare Solutions is hiring an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a community-based acute care hospital in Far Rockaway, NY.

Schedule

• 9:00 AM–9:30 PM
• Weekend, overnight, and holiday call as needed
• On-call rate: $4/hr
• Callback rate: time-and-a-half
• ASAP start available

Requirements

• Active NY RN License
• BSN required
• Minimum 3 years of recent OR experience in an acute care hospital setting
• BLS through AHA required
• Must be comfortable scrubbing and circulating
• Must be able to scrub and circulate general OR cases / most surgical cases
• Endoscopy/procedural experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures
• Support general OR cases and procedural/endoscopy cases as needed
• Maintain sterile field and surgical safety standards
• Assist with patient positioning and intraoperative monitoring
• Complete accurate surgical documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and procedural teams
