Commercial Property ManagerLHH Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate properties throughout the Portland Metro area. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys building strong tenant relationships, driving operational excellence, and protecting asset value across retail-focused commercial properties.The Commercial Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned assets, serving as the primary point of contact for tenants, vendors, ownership, and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience managing commercial properties and a strong understanding of retail property operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily operations for a portfolio of commercial properties.Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, ensuring a high level of customer service and tenant satisfaction.Manage vendor relationships, negotiate service contracts, and oversee maintenance and repair activities.Conduct regular property inspections to ensure assets are maintained to company standards.Coordinate tenant improvements, capital projects, and property enhancements as needed.Assist with annual operating budgets, expense tracking, financial reporting, and variance analysis.Review invoices, approve expenditures, and monitor property-level operating expenses.Support lease administration activities, including lease compliance, renewals, amendments, and tenant correspondence.Coordinate with leasing teams regarding vacancies, tenant move-ins, renewals, and occupancy strategies.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.Respond to property emergencies and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.Prepare ownership reports and provide updates regarding property performance, tenant activity, and operational initiatives.Qualifications Required2+ years of commercial property management experience (residential property management experience alone will not be considered)Direct experience overseeing retail properties, shopping centers, or retail-focused commercial portfolios is highly preferred. Knowledge of industrial and office space is also welcomed.Experience working with budgets, financial reporting, and operating expenses.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management systems.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Ability to travel within the Portland area as needed.High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors Degree or Certification in Business, Real Estate and/or Property Management is preferred.
