Future Lower School Teacher
Palm Beach Day Academy
Elementary Teacher Position
Palm Beach Day Academy, established in 1921, is an independent, coeducational school serving students from age 2 to Grade 8 on two campuses. The Lower Campus, which teaches students from two years old through Grade 3, seeks a full-time elementary teacher for the upcoming school year. Palm Beach Day Academy seeks to educate the whole child fostering a love of learning in a student-centered environment. A successful candidate will:

Requirements
The lower campus teacher is responsible for:
- Planning and implementing curriculum
- Using a variety of teaching strategies within a co-teaching, collaborative model
- Planning and conducting small and large group lessons that meet standards
- Encouraging and supporting student-driven learning
- Valuing the student experience
- Being a committed team member
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the elementary level (ideal, but not required)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience integrating technology with curriculum
