1200 Old Highway 8 NW New Brighton, MN55112 APi Inc Estimator 1200 Old Highway 8 NW New Brighton, MN 55112 Salary: 70,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD / YEAR An Estimator, or Project Estimator ,is responsible fordeciding the projectedtime frameneeded to complete a project andadditionalfactors like labor needs, materials, budgets, and potential setbacks. Their duties include communicating with personnel and contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software to weigh production risks or compilereportsand making presentations to project leaders outlining their suggestions for upcoming projects. Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings Manage single or multiple projects simultaneously Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in construction management or construction related field Extensive knowledge of project estimating procedures Travel Requirements Travel to project sites, or other APi Inc company locations as needed Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
