Position Overview

Fox Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at our Cape Coral, Florida Rehabilitation Center. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics to develop tailored treatment plans for patients with various injuries, diseases, and disabilities.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques and interventions while adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Provide education and training to patients and caregivers to empower them through their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of each patient's progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to discuss treatment goals and patient needs.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and students, ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the treatment process.
• Contribute to department operational oversight, mentoring programs, and evolving service delivery to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to continuously uplift standards of care within the facility.
• Maintain a well-organized and safe environment by adhering to the proper use of therapy equipment and ensuring regular maintenance is conducted.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as a Physical Therapist will include working with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, who require specialized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs. You will be involved in adaptive techniques for rehabilitation, addressing conditions that range from orthopedic issues to neurological disorders. This requires a commitment to understanding the unique challenges faced by each individual.

Qualifications

• Active State Physical Therapist license.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher; a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Sound clinical experience in a healthcare setting, demonstrating familiarity with a variety of physical therapy techniques and practices.
• Proficient physical skills required for therapy, including lifting, manual dexterity, and the ability to engage and support patients physically.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a team-oriented rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work with pediatric patients and a background in child development is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Fox Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 50,000 to 75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
