As a full-time member of our outpatient clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain motion, improve their physical capabilities, and enhance their overall quality of life. Work Environment

Located in the beautiful Fort Myers area, our rehabilitation center provides a welcoming and state-of-the-art environment for both staff and patients. The facility focuses exclusively on outpatient care, allowing for a structured 9 am to 5 pm work schedule from Monday through Friday. You will be part of a team of highly qualified professionals who are passionate about sports medicine and physical rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to establish their physical therapy needs and customize treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide high-quality, individualized care aimed at restoring mobility and function while considering each patient's personal goals.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and cutting-edge therapies to deliver effective treatment interventions.
• Empower patients through education and motivation, leading them through safe and effective exercises during their rehabilitation journey.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, comprising doctors, nurses, and other therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure effective communication and continuity of care.
• Emphasize non-pharmacological approaches to rehabilitation and promote healthy lifestyle choices that enhance overall wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients range from athletes recovering from injuries to individuals seeking to regain function after surgeries or managing chronic conditions. You will work with clients of all ages, each requiring tailored care plans to meet their unique challenges and aspirations. The focus on outpatient rehabilitation allows therapists to establish long-term relationships with patients, making a significant impact on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Current Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• No history of sanctions or board proceedings, ensuring a strong professional reputation.
• Proficiency in various manual therapy modalities, showcasing a versatile skill set.
• Adeptness in designing effective exercise programs that cater specifically to the needs of individual patients.
• Ability to efficiently navigate EMR software, specifically Web PT, for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Up-to-date knowledge of current physical therapy techniques supported by scientific research.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation is preferred.
• Experience in sports medicine or working with athletic populations will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
