Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations by reviewing pertinent medical histories and performing standardized assessments to establish baselines and set goals for recovery.

• Communicate findings and treatment plans effectively to patients and their families, ensuring they are integral in the goal-setting process.

• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on patient evaluations, adapting as necessary to meet the evolving needs of patients in a complex healthcare landscape.

• Engage in consultations with fellow healthcare professionals, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may warrant adjustments to the plan of care.

• Manage discharge planning processes effectively, ensuring that all documentation regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes is timely and comprehensive.

• Meet established productivity expectations by maintaining an efficient patient schedule and participating in hospital marketing initiatives.

• Contribute to department goals by adhering to regulatory compliance and by continuously seeking opportunities for professional development and education.

• Promote excellent customer experiences, demonstrating a flexible and adaptable approach to enhance patient satisfaction and access to care.

• Play an active role in team-based initiatives aimed at eliminating barriers to patient access to services, engaging with organizational metrics to improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure in the state.

• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience
