Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity, developing targeted treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a caseload of patients with a focus on orthopedic conditions, ensuring high-quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to design tailored rehabilitation programs, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment interventions as needed to optimize recovery and mobility.
• Document all patient interactions and progress in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Collaborate extensively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient education, helping individuals understand their conditions and promoting self-management strategies.
• Encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles through exercise and wellness routines that enhance strength and flexibility.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Orthopedic Physical Therapist will primarily work with adult patients facing various musculoskeletal challenges, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Our diverse client population requires a therapist who is adept at customizing treatments based on individual goals and rehabilitation timelines. Your role will significantly impact our patients' quality of life, emphasizing mobility restoration and pain reduction.

Qualifications

• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Completion of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An exemplary professional record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid background in developing exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with a preference for experience using WebPT.
• The ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings or rehabilitation services is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated expertise in working with diverse orthopedic conditions and a proactive approach to patient care.
• Experience in developing fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
