Work Environment

This role is set within a cutting-edge rehabilitation facility in sunny Fort Myers, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to ascertain their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement customized rehabilitation programs utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic intervention, applying specific techniques to enhance functionality and alleviate pain based on the physician's directives.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service; maintain clear and professional communication with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Track and document patient progress towards established therapeutic goals, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, exercises, and preventative measures to promote long-term wellness.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to overall clinic business development objectives through excellent service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population ranges from individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries to those requiring rehabilitation post-surgery. You will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric patients and athletes, addressing a diverse range of physical challenges. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current and valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to engage and build strong relationships with patients, fostering an environment conducive to their rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior clinical experience, particularly in orthopedic, pediatric, or sports rehabilitation settings, is highly favorable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and assessment tools used in physical therapy.
• Experience in documentation systems and electronic health records.

Compensation and Benefits
