Work Environment

This position is based in our Fort Myers outpatient office, designed with the comfort and needs of our patients in mind. Key Responsibilities

The Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist will perform a variety of essential functions, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess each patient's physical capabilities, identifying areas requiring intervention.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on maximizing physical function and reducing pain.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure that care plans are executed appropriately and effectively.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as traction and massage.
• Educating patients and their families about the treatment processes and how to best utilize therapeutic devices for optimal outcomes.
• Tracking patient progress through careful documentation and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, ensuring accurate clinical records are maintained.
• Participating actively in case conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings to evaluate patient status and modify treatment goals.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of our care programs and actively engaging in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes post-surgical patients, individuals with musculoskeletal injuries, and those dealing with chronic pain. Qualifications

To successfully fill the position of Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist, candidates should meet the following criteria:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Florida.
• Current CPR certification, valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate a commitment to patient care quality.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
