Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, implementing, and modifying personalized treatment plans based on individual patient assessments, ensuring alignment with their rehabilitation goals.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical abilities and utilizing a range of diagnostic tests to inform treatment decisions.
• Overseeing the work of physical therapy assistants to guarantee effective and appropriate delivery of care plans.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, traction, massage, and other modalities as prescribed by the physician, ensuring clients actively engage in their recovery process.
• Facilitating adaptations to home environments to enhance client independence and safety during recovery.
• Documenting patient progress comprehensively, including OASIS assessments, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on comprehensive care strategies for clients.
• Staying readily accessible to supervise and assist Physical Therapy Assistants during client sessions, ensuring quality care.
• Educating clients and families on therapy devices and overall care plans, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Contributing to the ongoing development of best practices and care methodologies that enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients, primarily focusing on individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. These clients may have undergone surgeries, experienced trauma, or are managing chronic conditions. Your empathetic approach and effective communication skills will be vital in building trust and rapport, which is essential for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid PT license in the State of Florida, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• A strong dedication to delivering quality care and a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adjust communication styles to suit varying patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in home care or acute care settings is preferred, it is not mandatory. We encourage fresh graduates who are passionate about making a difference in patients' lives to apply. However, one year of experience as a physical therapist is typically required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with an extensive benefits package. This package includes healthcare, dental, vision, and pharmacy coverage, allowing you to take care of your well-being while serving our clients.
