Work Environment

Our North Fort Myers outpatient office offers a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where teamwork and shared goals are prioritized. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, engaging in 40-hour shifts that allow you to connect with patients daily. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical conditions, taking into account their medical history and treatment goals.
• Create tailored treatment plans that align with physician referrals and patient needs, incorporating evidence-based practices to optimize recovery.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and treatment modalities, closely monitoring patient progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
• Facilitate communication with patients and their families to educate them about their conditions, empower them in their care, and enhance their motivation.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to enhanced patient care.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring that all interactions are positive and patient-focused.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records to document treatment plans, progress, and other relevant information.
• Achieve minimum utilization goals while contributing to the center's overall growth and success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic issues, pediatric challenges, neurological conditions, and sports-related injuries. Each case presents an opportunity to apply your specialized knowledge and therapeutic skills to develop meaningful connections with individuals of all ages, helping them overcome obstacles and regain mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License to practice Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in treatment methodologies.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills, enabling efficient documentation and patient management.
• A strong ability to build rapport with patients and their families, focusing on achieving and exceeding their functional goals.
• A genuine desire to positively impact the lives of your patients and the community.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a clinical environment catering to a similar patient demographic can be advantageous.
• Familiarity with the latest rehabilitation technologies and treatment protocols applicable to orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits
