Work Environment

This position is onsite, with regular hours from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Our outpatient clinic is equipped with modern facilities and technology that enhance therapeutic interventions, ensuring that you have the tools needed to provide the best care possible. We maintain a low patient-to-therapist ratio, ensuring that each therapist can devote significant attention to their patients and actively engage in their recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their specific physical therapy needs and establish tailored treatment goals.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of orthopedic conditions to provide informed and effective interventions aimed at restoring function and minimizing pain.
• Educate patients on their conditions and involve them in their treatment plans, fostering motivation and encouraging compliance with therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically Web PT, to document patient care accurately and manage treatment outcomes effectively.
• Continuously assess patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, ensuring optimal recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate proactively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
• Promote injury prevention strategies and healthy lifestyle practices within the patient population.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy and orthopedic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and mobility impairments related to aging or injuries. You will be integral in helping these patients regain their independence and improve their overall physical health through restorative practices and educational resources tailored to their conditions.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Proven hands-on experience in providing orthopedic physical therapy, ideally in an outpatient setting.
• Exceptional proficiency in various manual therapy modalities and demonstrated ability to create successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on patient engagement and education.
• Ability to effectively navigate and utilize EMR systems to enhance patient care documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic focusing on orthopedic conditions is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with current trends and research in physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
