Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with various functional limitations and disabilities, designing personalized treatment plans to maximize recovery.

• Implement treatment protocols based on initial evaluations while ensuring responsiveness to changes in each patient's condition, adjusting care plans as necessary.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of all patient interactions, including daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge evaluations, in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, discussing treatment strategies and recognizing needs for additional consultations as appropriate.

• Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care procedures, ensuring patients are prepared for continued recovery beyond their time in therapy.

• Stay current with best practices and compliance, actively engaging in ongoing education and training as required for professional development.

• Foster a supportive atmosphere by participating actively in team meetings and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving patient accessibility and care quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Supremacy Body & Pain Center, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in enhancing their quality of life, guiding them through tailored rehabilitation plans that address their specific needs. Your ability to connect with patients empathetically will allow you to motivate and inspire them throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee is essential.

• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is mandatory.

• Current CPR certification is also required.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and scheduling.

• Background in developing and leading treatment exercise programs for diverse patient demographics.

• Active involvement in continuing education or workshops focused on innovative therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
