Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations that include gathering patient medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting results to establish a solid basis for treatment plans.
• Effectively communicate findings and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring they are engaged in the goal-setting process and understand their rehabilitation journey.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on individual patient evaluations, adapting as necessary to align with healthcare best practices and evolving patient needs.
• Consult with fellow healthcare professionals as required, documenting alterations in a patient's condition that necessitate adjustments in care strategies or referral to other specialists.
• Manage discharge planning and aftercare successfully, producing detailed and timely documentation that reflects each patient's treatment course, including initial evaluations, ongoing progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Optimize time management to meet productivity expectations, maintain an organized schedule, and participate in marketing initiatives that promote clinic services and enhance community connections.
• Contribute to the department's goals through compliance with industry regulations and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
• Support the development of future therapists by participating in educational programs and serving as a mentor for students in clinical placements.
• Uphold exceptional customer service standards, ensuring ease of access to care for all patients.
• Engage actively with initiatives aimed at improving patient access to therapy services, utilizing clinic performance data for continual enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve encompass a diverse demographic, presenting with a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and more. As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your primary goal will be to empower each individual to overcome their challenges and regain their independence through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possess a valid State license in Physical Therapy to practice, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers is mandatory.
• While two years of experience is preferred, qualified new graduates are encouraged to apply and embark on their professional journey with us.
