Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patient's unique needs, focusing on pain relief, functional improvement, and mobility enhancement.
• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through comprehensive assessments, including mobility tests, strength checks, and functional evaluations.
• Oversee and guide Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of the treatment plan, ensuring adherence to therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation goals.
• Administer manual and therapeutic exercises while providing essential education to patients and their families regarding non-manual exercises and self-care techniques.
• Utilize advanced techniques such as massage, traction, and the application of physical agents to support patients' rehabilitation processes.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and case managers, to review patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Document patient evaluations and treatment progress accurately and timely, preparing comprehensive clinical records for submission.
• Conduct home assessments as required to optimize patients' environments for successful rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work predominantly with an outpatient adult population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will be responsible for adapting your therapeutic techniques to accommodate a broad spectrum of physical capabilities and limitations, ensuring that each patient's journey toward recovery is respectful of their unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed and in good standing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Current certification in CPR, ensuring the safety and care of our patients.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required for home visits.
• Proven ability to develop rapport with patients and demonstrate compassion in care.
• A creative and analytical mindset with the capability to assess and address complex patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of experience in a physical therapy role, particularly in outpatient settings or home care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and documentation practices.
• Experience working within a collaborative team environment, showcasing effective communication and teamwork skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
