Key Responsibilities

• Direct and implement physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring muscle function in alignment with each client's unique care needs.
• Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring they effectively carry out the established plans of care.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' physical capabilities using diagnostic assessments, including muscle and joint tests.
• Identify environmental barriers within clients' homes that could hinder rehabilitation and offer appropriate recommendations to foster greater independence.
• Deliver prescribed physical therapy services directly within the outpatient setting while adhering to physician guidelines.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, guiding and motivating clients through both manual and non-manual activities to foster engagement and recovery.
• Apply various physical agents for treatment, including traction and massage, to promote healing and relieve discomfort.
• Evaluate and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians to recommend any necessary modifications.
• Contribute to the continuous development and refinement of the care plan in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, reporting significant changes to physicians and case managers as necessary.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in team meetings to contribute insights and make collective decisions regarding client treatment plans.
• Educate clients and their families about treatment processes and the benefits of physical therapy programs.
• Ensure all documentation related to clinical and administrative tasks is completed promptly and accurately to meet organizational guidelines.
• Complete other duties and special projects as assigned to further the goals and objectives of Wellness Wise Physical Therapy.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
